    When you're playing paintball as a beginner, you need every advantage you can get.  If you're going to play on a field in the woods, make sure that you dress the part.  While you may not have camouflage, at least wear dark colors so you can blend into the background as well as possible.  Many beginners are worried about getting shot so they layer up with t-shirts, but it's better to wear a black shirt than grey hoodie that signals to the world to shoot you.

    HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY EVERYONE!  Despite the beautiful weather, we had lower turnout - but that is to be expected - today is a day for honoring all the moms out there. We added one new club member though - thanks for coming out! The big news of the day was a one on one - Ted versus Tony in the Hornet’s Nest. All reports are that it was an intensely fun (and exhausting) game that was great to watch! See you all next weekend!

    Today was the perfect day for some paintball! Can’t believe how beautiful it was outside… thank you to our newest 10 club members that joined us today. Thank you for coming out! As Weenie Kings had other engagements this weekend, Splatmandu Club Members donated baked goods for a Bake Sale. Thank you to all of you who either made sweets, or purchased them… and in some cases, BOTH!     Sunday was a beautiful day for paintball! Thank you to our 13 newest club members of the 2012 season. It was great to have you with us. Lots of paintball was played today, and I must say, everyone played with honor and really put forth good efforts all day. Lots of communication and sportsmanship from every player I saw out there. Great job and amazing to watch! Thank you all for all your hard work over the weekend. This up-coming Sunday is the next installment of “Scenario Challenge 2012″ so see you then!
